*** You are required to drink the Hypnotropic to get into the dreamy clearing. The hypnotropic can be obtained for unlimited time in "Inside the Hut" at Kor Shelian's Cabin. There are two options to obtain the hypntropic as the following:

and Prepare a hypnotropic

Prepare a hypnotropic

Convince Kor Shelian is the easiest option to obtain the Hypnotropic, but it requires leadership and urban at least 22 and 20, respectively. You can easily pump up the urban to 20 by hiring the "Sister in Arms" at your inn in Lanfar and get a 4-carat Tsavorite Brooch.

Some important checklists for you before getting into the dreamy clearing:
- Yraen
- Varanus (Cave bonus)
- Squires
- 4-carat Quartz Necklace (Cave bonus)
- Compass with good Exploration bonus
- Steel Plated Armor or Bronze/Steel Harnois Set
- Shinhan's flow chart
- Hypnotropic

I will summarize the shinhan's flow chart into easy-follow sentences walkthrough if you think the flow chart is confusing.

1st Step: Activate the quest "Knock knock, who's there"
Drink the hypnotropic --> Go through the window -->  Drop down through the hole --> Wait for nightfall --> Slide towards the mountains --> Follow the ice way (Nothingness, Snow 5)

Now you are at Nothingness, Snow 5. Talk to the old man, Drabouch Ros to activate the quest "Knock knock, who's there".

2nd Step: Kill the Nightmarish Creature to obtain a mirror dust
Cross the brick wall (at Nothingness, Snow 5) --> Offer yourself as sacrifice  (Search the darkness)

At this point, you will see this, and this is where the Varanus's cave bonus is needed.

Kill the Nightmarish creature will get you a mirror dust, which is required for the next step. It might take you a few trials to kill the tough boss or you might need to take some sleep after you killed the boss.

3rd Step: Click on the button "Spray the virus" 
Assuming that you just finished taking rest at your home,
Drink the hypnotropic --> Go through the window -->  Drop down through the hole (at an idyllic life; Urban 12) click the button "Spray the Virus"

Click the button "Spray the virus" to complete the quest "Knock knock, who's there". Please do make sure that you are spraying on the blue virus. If you spray on the wrong virus, you will have to battle with the Nightmarish Creature (2nd Step) to obtain the mirror dust. The battle with Nightmarish Creature is repeatable; the cool-down time is less than 5 minutes if I remember correctly.

Final Step: Complete the quest "Knock knock, who's there"
Assuming that you are at the idyllic life (Urban 12)
Wait for nightfall --> Slide towards the mountains --> Follow the ice way (Nothingness Snow 5)

Talk to the old man, Drabouch Ros to complete the quest "Knock knock, who's there".

Congratulations! You have done the quest.

A new quest that activate the den's gate can be obtained at the Torten camp in Lanfar, Whispering forest.
