Base - Your hero's skill level
To calculate the effective skill level of Botany,
An object with the highest level of Botany will go on the first category, which is 40%. The second higher level of object of Botany will go on the second category, which is 30%, and the third and fourth will be 20% and 10%, respectively. Only jewels are always counted as 100% on the last separated category.
Calculation Example:
On the image above shows the hero has the highest Botany level, so the hero will go on the first (40%) category, and the Precise Silver Billhook and the Craftswoman are the second and third, so they belong to the second (30%) and third (20%) category. The 4-carat Garnet Bracelet is a jewel, so it is on the last separated category (100%).
Hero
20.5 x 0.4 = 8.2
Precise Silver Billhook:
20.0 x 0.3 = 6.0
Craftwoman
14.0 x 0.2 = 2.8
4-carat Garnet Bracelet
4.3 x 1 = 4.3
Sum those numbers on the above, 8.2 + 6.0 + 2.8 + 4.3 = 21.3
